Making a prediction about something in the coming year

Hello Everyone!

It's hip tip time and today I'd like to discuss an alternative to making New Year's resolutions. Instead how about if we shift our focus just a bit and consider making New Year's predictions instead! Yep! Ready that crystal ball and read on as you'll soon see why making predictions is such a cool alternative to the always hopeful but often quickly dismissed New Year's resolution!

Hip tip: Rather than dutifully making a New Year's resolution this year, how about making a prediction about something in the coming year – maybe something you’ll do or that will happen in your life!

What’s interesting about predictions is that they don’t have all the baggage that a resolution does but still retain the magic, which is that tiny kernel of desire in yourself. Resolutions usually fail because the seed at the nexus of the resolution is based on what’s wrong with you and not what’s right!

When we make predictions, they’re positive and we look forward to seeing them occur — a lot like the excitement we experience when opening a fortune cookie. That’s when magic happens in life. But few of us really expect a truly New Year. We just hope for the best. This year can be different. Let's start off this New Year by coming up with a few positive predictions! Who knows, a vibrant, positive world may very well open up for you!

So let's get started by taking a piece of paper, poster board or even butcher paper and pasting images from magazines, books and/or the internet onto it of the things we'd like to manifest in our life this year aka our predictions! Essentially what we're creating here is a vision board. What's so cool about this approach is that what changes your life is the actual process of selecting the images to place on your vision board which will in turn stick like glue to your subconscious and steer your choices in a direction that helps make the vision aka predictions real! Woo Hoo!

Now once you've completed your vision board aka predictions then place it in an area where you'll be sure to see it every day AND make it a point to really look at it once a day for 90 seconds. Yep, just a little over a minute and you're well on your way to having your New Year's predictions come true! Yay!
